
Kuwaiti Consul General in Milan Abdul-Nasser Bukhadhour and Advisor for Cultural Affairs of Milan Municipality Filippo Del Corno discussed the ways of enhancing cultural ties most prominently Kuwait's participation in 2015 Milan Expo.
"Bukhadhour met with Del Corno Thursday and discussed means to strengthen cultural and social cooperation between the two countries through holding cultural and artistic events," Consulate General of Kuwait in Milan said in a statement received by KUNA.
Bukhadhour underlined the importance of opening new horizons of cooperation and cultural exchange to buttress friendship relations, communicate with peoples and develop human civilization, it noted.
The statement added that the two sides tackled Kuwait's participation in 2015 Milan Expo, noting that Bukhadhour underscored the importance of this global event to show Kuwait's civilized image and its achievements in dealing with global challenges.
Bukhadhour discussed with Del Corno the possibility of launching a media campaign before the start of the event to highlight Kuwait's development and contributions to humanity, the statement concluded.
