
Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for Tourism Affairs Samira Al-Ghareeb and the Ambassador of Tajikistan in Kuwait Zubaydullo Zubaydov discussed here on Thursday how to beef up and cement bilateral cooperation in the domain of tourism.
Speaking to KUNA following the meeting, Al-Ghareeb said she had discussed with the Tajik ambassador direct routes between Kuwait and Tajikistan and how to put the 2013 bilateral tourist agreement in place.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry has provided all necessary support and facilities for an exhibition and forum on tourism in Tajikistan due here on November 24, she said.
For his part, the Tajik ambassador said his country has all potentials to be a destination for Gulf tourists, especially Kuwaitis.
In this regard, several Tajik ministers and officials are poised to visit Kuwait by the end of this month to attend the tourism exhibition, he said.
The Tajik ambassador invited Kuwaitis to visit his country in order to enjoy tourist facilities there.
