
Assistant Undersecretary for Press and Publication in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information Lulwa Al-Salem said here on Saturday that the participation of the Ministry in foreign cultural events is a good opportunity for boosting cultural dialogue and building bridges of communications.
Al-Salem told KUNA that participation in the 25th Doha Book Fair and its accompanying cultural events was also an opportunity to meet with the Qatari officials in charge of culture and media affairs, praising the excellent organization of this exhibition.
She said she discussed with the Qatari Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari topics of mutual interest, especially ways to strengthen cultural and media cooperation and support communication between the two sides.
Al-Salem added that she conveyed to Al-Kuwari the greetings of the Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Hmoud Al-Sabah
Al-Salem also thanked the Qatari Minister for the invitation to participate in the Book Fair which started on January 7 and lasts till January 17.
