Luxor Governor Tarek Saadeddin carried out Saturday an inspection tour to the work of the US archaeological mission which conducts research and exploration of antiquities in el-Assasif area, Luxor's West Bank.
Saadeddin inspected excavation work in "Amun" tomb that began in 2006.
He listened to the explanation of the archaeologists about the tomb.
The governor gave directives to provide the mission with tools needed and to remove obstacles that may hinder its work.
He also discussed with the mission what it had lately discovered and proposals about organizing visits for students and US archaeological delegations to Luxor.
