Bahrain's Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa announced here on Wednesday the launching ceremony of "Manama is the Capital of Arab Youth".
Speaking at the ceremony, Sheikh Nasser said Bahrain embraces the Arab youth event in compliance with the directives of Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa aiming at supporting the programs and activities that are attracted by the Arab youth to develop them and boost their role.
He added that this move reflects the capability of Bahrain to organize all activities and programs that would develop the skills of youth, noting that a number of rich and varied programs in different fields were prepared to achieve Manama's goals in this regard.
The ceremony was organized in Isa Town's gym hall and attended by officials, members of diplomatic corps and invitees from the Kingdom and abroad. The event included an operetta on the Arab youth and their aspirations.
