HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari honored last night a number of youths who took part in the Summer Activity 2011. The closing ceremony, held at Abu Bakr Independent School, coincident with the UN International Youth Day. HE the Minister of Culture said that marking the International Youth Day which coincident with the Ministry''s celebrations of the Summer Activities this year reflects Qatar''s commitment, represented by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, to youth activities and opinions by engaging them in all sectors in the state. HE the Minister of Culture noted that the Summer Activity this year was diverse, unique and fruitful, adding that the artistic, cultural, religious and sports activities of the youths were the result of that excellence and creativity. HE the Minister of Culture commented the efforts exerted by the Youth Activities and Events Department and the principals of all schools that took part in the Summer Activities. He also thanked the students who were the main reason of making this cultural season a success. The Summer Activity is organized by the Youth Activities and Events Department at the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage every year. The closing ceremony program this year included an exhibition of youth arts, cultural and scientific activities
