
Out of its sustainable efforts to develop better social relations, and deepen the ties between its professional cadres, Ministry of Culture organized yesterday night “Thursday” its annual Ramadan Ghabqa for the ministry’s affiliates in Regency Hotel, in presence of Minister of Culture, Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa. Ramadan’s night was an opportunity to have a humanitarian and social communication between the different departments and directorates of the ministry, as well as exchanging expertise between the cadres and activating the positive spirit in a way to develop the culture system in its next phases, and reinforcing its foundations in the present time. Minister of Culture expressed her happiness with the cultural achievement the ministry has accomplished recently, highlighting that such works are a true and a tangible result of the high professional performance of the staff along their march. The minister praised the efforts of the affiliates of the ministry during the year “Manama.. The Capital of Arab Tourism for 2013,” stressing that the ministry is continuing its efforts to make it the year of Art, which will be full of cultural events and humanitarian and artistic activities. In line with the minister’s keenness to appreciate the efforts and encourage achievement at work, Shaikha Mai honoured an elite of professional cadres of the ministry, in addition to a number of staff, whose administrative works were distinctive lately, and who had a clear impact on all various projects. Shaikha Mai said “This humanitarian meeting is an honour for all, and those distinctive affiliates are a model to be followed, where every member presented their experience, and efforts.” The Ramadan meeting of the Ministry of Culture was full of competitions and music played by Ahmed Bin Fares musical band.
