Mufti Shawqi Allam calls for renewing religious discourse in line with Islam teachings

Grand Mufti Shawqi Allam has stressed the importance of renewing the religious discourse in line with the teachings of Islam.
In press statements on Thursday, Allam said that the Islamic principles can be applied anytime and everywhere to serve the interests of people.
He also called upon Egyptians to make use of the Islamic heritage and approaches adopted by the Early Muslims.
Allam urged the Takfiri and jihadist groups to follow the tolerant teachings of Islam, which prohibit bloodshed and violence.
