
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Sponsor and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Group for Culture and Art and Sponsor of Abu Dhabi Festival, yesterday received Jed Bernstein, Director of the Lincoln Centre in the United States, a guest of honour at the 11th edition of the Festival, which is currently taking place in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Nahyan and Bernstein exchanged views on the Festival, which includes major arts and cultural events involving U.S. cultural institutions that make the Festival a world cultural forum. Sheikh Nahyan also talked about the objectives of the Festival and its achievement for strategic partnership with various global cultural institutions, stressing that the Abu Dhabi World Group for Culture and Arts reflected the vision of Abu Dhabi and translated its role and status as a beacon of renewed thought and a global capital for culture and arts.
