
A new experience of art and music show has been initiated in the National Museum of Bardo. During the holy month of Ramadan, the museum will host art shows and leisure spaces while opening a space of exhibition to the visitors.
Called "Museum Lounge Bardo,’‘ this initiative, fruit of a collaboration between the Bardo Museum and event operator'' La Fabrik Prod'', aims to revitalize the museum during Ramadan evenings, offer a place of relaxation in an original place with free guided visits to the museum and exhibition of ''El Hayek'' (traditional dress of Algiers).
For this occasion, the gardens of Bardo have been transformed into a ‘‘Lounge’‘ and its internal hall into a coffee show where artists will perform in different genres.
Just after the opening of the space, the museum staff already affirms the ''success'' of the event, is part of the policy of the Ministry of Culture to boost national museums during the evenings of Ramadan and throughout summer season.
Numerous visitors were met in the museum for one exhibition which attracted many more visitors than in ordinary time.
