The Yehia Khalil ensemble will grace the Cairo Opera House's small hall with a jazz repertoire on Friday 21 September. One of the most established jazz musicians in Egypt, Yehya Khalil presents a fusion of percussion arrangements with an oriental twist and classical jazz in concerts across Egypt and the globe. Khalil pioneered the jazz movement in Egypt, and has been creating game-changing music for the past four decades. Playing with a band of talented musicians, Khalil continues to re-define jazz, blending world trends with local music.
