Pope Tawadros opens new church in Amsterdam

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese on Friday inaugurated the church of Great Martyr Mar Jirjis in the city of Utrecht in the central Netherlands.
Pope Tawadros ordained priest Bishoy Kamel as archpriest.
Pope Tawadros arrived Thursday in the Netherlands on the first-leg of a pastoral tour of Europe.
The week-long tour will also take him to France and Austria.
He will then leave for France for a conference on Coptic Orthodox Churches outside Egypt.
