Pope Tawadros receives Chinese religious affairs minister

Head of the Coptic Orthodox Church Pope Tawadros II received on Thursday Chinese Minister of Religious Affairs Wang Zuoan, currently visiting Egypt.
The Chinese minister said he was visiting to get acquainted with Christianity and Islam in Egypt and to strengthen Egyptian-Chinese relations, a statement released by the Coptic Church said.
Wang and his accompanying delegation arrived here Wednesday at the invitation of head of the Episcopal Church in Egypt and North Africa Dr Monir Hanna to visit the Ministry of Awqaf, Al Azhar and the Bible Society of Egypt.
