
Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) confirmed that what is being witnessed currently by Jeddah historic city of hard work exerted by many government agencies and owners in a distinctive system of joint action makes everyone optimistic that this year will be of a real breakthrough for the development of the city's historic district .
In a press statement following the opening of Historic Jeddah Festival in its 2nd session, which was opened in the presence of Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, President of the Tourist Development Council and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Festival, he said that Jeddah is characterized by its unique historic value, link to the honorable national history, cultural diversity, economic depth, a promising investment future, which makes everyone feel optimistic of a bright future worthy of the people of Jeddah and their highly valued historic region.
He also highlighted the significant attention given to Jeddah from the State and noted the great efforts being exerted by its Governor and Makkah region's Governor.
