HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari, and his Belarussian counterpart, Pavel Latushko, signed the executive programme for the Cultural Co-operation Agreement between Qatar and Belarus at the headquarters of the Belarussian Ministry of Culture here yesterday. Following the signing ceremony, the two ministers held a press conference, during which, they stressed the depth of relations between the two countries. Minister al-Kuwari said the signing of this programme is an important event for the two countries; especially on the level of cultural co-operation. He noted that the reciprocal visits of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani to Belarus and the president of Belarus to Qatar have paved the way for the elaboration of this agreement. Dr al-Kuwari expressed his wish to further develop bilateral relations, inviting the Belarusian media to visit the Qatari cultural festival which was inaugurated yesterday.
