
A scene of Drak Yerpa in Dagze county of Lhasa, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Drak Yerpa, located at an altitude of aroudn 4,000 meters, is one of the fanes constructed under the order of Songtsen Gampo, the 7th century Tibetan king, as a gift to his concubine, which later became one of the four main retreat monasteries in Tibet. Famous for its integration of grottos, Drak Yerpa consists of a monastery and more than 80 meditation caves.
