Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Shaikh Isa Cultural Center, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa launched last Thursday the updated website (Library Portal) of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the digitized (Document-Magazine) on the database (Knowledge. According to the Center's CEO Dr. Khaldoon Aba Hussein, the new website is one of a series of vital projects implemented by the center in compliance with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Highness the chairman of the board of trustees in order to spread Bahraini culture locally and internationally and to provide distinctive cultural service to various segments of the community, as part of the center's celebration of national occasions (month of the motherland) which coincides with the activities of Manama. the Capital of Arab Culture 2012. His Highness launched the digitized (Document Magazine) on the database (knowledge) which is a semi-annual scientific periodical magazine issued by the Documentation Center in Shaikh Isa Cultural Center and includes various constructive topics aimed to introduce Bahrain's history and culture. The website acts as the center's window for all researchers and everybody who is interested in its links which translate the center's vision, mission, goals and activities which forms Bahrain's intellectual, cultural and knowledge portfolios in a step aimed to facilitate smoother flow of data via the new website and to help researchers access knowledge pertaining to the Kingdom of Bahrain, its intellectual and literary production and seeks its enrichment.
