
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is to attend on Tuesday a celebration organized by the Awaqaf Ministry to celebrate Laylat Al Qadr.
Laylat Al Qadr is considered the holiest night of the year for Muslims, and is traditionally celebrated on the 27th day of Ramadan.
During the celebration, Sisi will honor 11 winners of Egypt's international Holy Quran competition.
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, Grand Imam of Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb, Pope Tawadros II and Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomma, along with ministers, scholars and ambassadors will also attend the celebration.
