
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the President of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sport and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee patronized the inauguration of the activities of the youth workshop themed "Society Building and Youth Initiatives" organized by the GCC General Secretariat.
The workshop was attended by GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, GOYS's President Hesham Mohammed Al-Jowder on behalf of the event's patron and several officials from the GCC General Secretariat.
His Highness said that the workshop comes in full compliance with the directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC countries towards youths who are considered the pillars of Gulf countries and its real wealth. His Highness hailed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's strong support to the Joint GCC Action Programme especially related to youths who occupy a big space in His Majesty's thinking. His Highness has expressed his appreciation to the GCC Secretary-General's attention to the workshop and his keenness to constantly follow up the workshop in order to achieve its goals.
His Highness stressed the importance of the workshop in suggesting more projects and plans capable of achieving the aspirations of GCC youths and meeting their needs. He hailed His Majesty the King's emphasis on youths as the source of strength to the Gulf society and hope for a promising future and the goal of development and its effective and influential tool.
