The most important piece in King Croesus' treasures "golden-winged seahorse brooch" has been returned to Turkey. Golden-winged seahorse brooch is pure gold and worth millions of Turkish Lira. The treasures are believed to date back to 6th century BC. The piece had been stolen from the archeology museum in the Aegean province of Usak in 2005. It had been searched abroad by Interpol since 2006. After it was found in German province Hagen, the piece was kept in safe deposit boxes of German Central Bank. Minister of culture and tourism Omer Celik will make a statement about the returning of the seahorse brooch at the International Berlin Tourism Stock Market Fair.
