
Tourism Development and Investment Company,TDIC, has welcomed Sir Richard Lambert, the Chairman of the British Museum, along with a group of senior museum representatives, for a special tour of the Saadiyat Accommodation Village.
Sir Richard's delegation was greeted by senior TDIC representatives who showed them around the fully-equipped residential facility which the company established in 2009 to house construction workers employed on Saadiyat’s projects that are being developed by TDIC. Designed to international standards, and with a capacity to accommodate up to 20,000 workers, the award-winning accommodation village features various state-of-the-art social, recreational and educational facilities.
During his visit, Sir Richard expressed his appreciation of TDIC’s efforts to provide high quality facilities and services that workers can enjoy throughout the village, as the Trustees of the British Museum care greatly about this aspect of the project.
