The 52nd edition of the Zlin International Film Festival for Children and Youth is slated to screen Iranian productions in different categories. Gholamreza Ramezani’s Class 3B and Ali Ghavitan’s Flight of the Kites will take part in the Czech festival’s Panorama section while Cinema Dream by Hamid and Ali Shah Hatami will be screened in the International Competition of Feature Films for Youth section of the event. Mehrdad Khoshbakht’s Sound of My Foot will take part in the International Competition of Feature Films for Children section and Circumstance by Maryam Keshavarz will be part of this year’s Night Horizons section. Founded in 1961, the 2012 Zlin International Film Festival for Children and Youth will be held from May 27 to June 3, in Zlin and five other towns in the Czech Republic. Some 108,000 visitors attended the 2011 edition of the festival which is organized by the statutory city of Zlin and the Tomas Bata University.
