The Izmir Symphony Orchestra will perform in Mykonos on October 5, 2012 in the context of Mykonos Antanaclasis Festival. Mykonos Antanaclasis Festival takes place for the second consecutive year hosting events from July, 27 until October, 5. It aims at offering a unique opportunity to Greek artists to perform alongside with internationally acclaimed soloists and ensembles. Moreover, the participation of young musicians is a central aim of Antanaclasis Festival, with special concerts and master classes for young audiences. The Izmir Symphony Orchestra, whose concert will mark the end of this year’s Antanaclasis Festival, is one of the most significant orchestras of Anatolia, internationally active with important collaborations and recordings as well as participations in renowned festivals. The orchestra will perform in Mykonos as part of its 2012 tour in Greece. The festival is under the auspices of Mykonos Municipality and is supported by Grypario Cultural Centre. From visitgreece
