UNESCO welcomes Egypt’s proposal to establish museum science center in Cairo

UNESCO welcomed Egypt’s proposal to establish a museum science center in Cairo under the auspices of the organization, Egypt's Minister of State for Antiquities Mohamed Ibrahim said on Thursday. During their general meeting in Paris, UNESCO members asked Egypt to prepare a file containing the details of the project. The purpose is to improve the management of museums and enhance the skills of the employees, Ibrahim said. Museums in Africa and the Middle East will benefit from the center, he added.
