
In collaboration with "Future Young Men Society" in the Republic of Burundi, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has organized the First Youth Forum for Eastern Africa in the Burundi capital of Bujumbura with the participation of 70 young people from Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The forum aimed at training young people on voluntary social works, building their capacities and briefinig them on the importance of their role in the development of their communities and education, as well as giving them the opportunity to get acquainted and exchange of youth experiences. For their part, the participants welcomed WAMY's forum, expressing their thanks to the World Assembly of Muslim Youth for its great humanitarian and educational works in the countries of East Africa.
