The selection committees of 35th King Faisal International Prize held yesterday evening a ceremony to announce the names of the winners of the prize in the presence of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, Director General of King Faisal International Foundation and the Chairman of the Prize's Commission. Addressing the ceremony, the Prince said, "I salute respectfully the leader of cultural, developmental and reformist renaissance in this country, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense." He added," I remember the aspirations of King Faisal (May Allah bestow mercy upon his soul) that the Saudi nation shall be the source of radiation to humanity," calling on all people to adopt King Faisal's creative thought and revive his memory through this Prize and Foundation.
