
A wood carving forum organized by the Ministry of Culture kicked off on Wednesday at the courtyard of the exhibitions gallery in Tartous city.
The forum, titled “Syria, you’re the most beautiful,” is organized in cooperation with Antradous Tourism Development Company, with the participation of 12 artists from Damascus, Lattakia, Deir Ezzor, Homs, and Tartous who will be working on their sculptures for the next 11 days.
The artists opted for a variety of themes and subjects for their sculptures, with their styles ranging from the realistic to the abstract, using eucalyptus and pine wood.
