
China and Russia will jointly celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory of World War II next year, Chinese and Russian presidents agreed here on Sunday.
President Xi Jinping and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin said the two countries will take this event as an important chance to jointly safeguard the outcome of the victory of WWII and post-WWII international order.
Xi and Putin held a meeting on Sunday ahead the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting. They said relevant departments of the two countries will be asked to well implement the joint celebration plan.
