
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met yesterday with Sean O'Fearghail, Chairman of the Lower House of the Irish Parliament, Dail Eireann.
The meeting touched on bilateral cooperation and means of boosting it in various fields, as well as a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah commended the outstanding relations binding the UAE and Ireland, expressing his hope that the bilateral relations would be further developed in various fields.
Mr. O'Fearghail welcomed the visit of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and his accompanying delegation, stressing the well-established relations between the UAE and Ireland.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmad bin Abdulla Humaid Belhoul AlFalasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, and Dr. Saeed Mohammed Ali Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland.
