
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, yesterday met with Richard Bruton, Irish Minister for Education and Skills.
The meeting touched on bilateral cooperation and means of boosting it in various fields, as well as a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan commended the distinguished relations between the UAE and Ireland, expressing hope that the bilateral relations would be further developed in various fields for the interest of the two peoples and countries.
He also highlighted the UAE's keenness to boost mutual cooperation with Ireland in various fields, including education.
Mr. Bruton welcomed the visit of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah to Ireland, commending the UAE's outstanding stature, both in the region and internationally.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmad bin Abdulla Humaid Belhoul AlFalasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, and Dr. Saeed Mohammed Ali Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland.
