
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, last night took part in the Ministerial Meeting for Libya hosted in the Italian capital, Rome.
The aim of the meeting, which also saw the participation of the UN Envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, under the chairmanship of Italian Foreign Minister Paulo Jantelaun and US counterpart John Kerry, was to find a political solution to the Libyan crisis.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Germany, France, Russia, China, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the European Union, the United Nations Organisation, the Arab League and the African Union.
Participants in the conference urged the Libyan political spectrum to adhere to the signing of an agreement on forming a government on the 16th of December.
