Abu Dhabi Crown Prince welcomes General Atomics and Raytheon Chairmen

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, separately received Neal Blue, Chairman of General Atomics, and Thomas Kennedy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Raytheon Defence Company, at Al Shati Palace on Saturday.
The two major United States (US) defence companies are participating at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference 2017 (IDEX), a biennial event at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre that runs from 19th to 23rd of February, 2017.
Sheikh Mohamed and the two chairmen explored the possibilities of bolstering co-operation between the US companies and their UAE counterparts, especially in areas of research and studies, training and other defence and civilian industries. The meetings also reviewed the latest developments in advanced military technology.
The chairmen of both companies also informed Sheikh Mohamed about their exhibits and development projects on show at IDEX.
