
Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir met Monday with Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr, currently on a visit to Sudan.
During the meeting, President al-Bashir stressed Sudan's keenness on supporting Yemen in order to achieve stability and security in the region.
In turn, the Yemeni premier said talks touched on means of boosting bilateral relations in the political, security and military fields as well as the situation in Yemen.
He highlighted the significant role of the Arab coalition to bring stability and security to Yemen based on clear references that were agreed upon between GCC states, the coalition, the international society as well as Security Council Resolution 2216 that stipulates the withdrawal, the handing over of arms and the return of legitimate institutions to Yemen.
