
Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika met on Saturday with Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry who started a two-day visit to Algeria to discuss the latest developments in the Arab region, especially the situation in Libya.
During the meeting, the Algerian president was keen on getting acquainted with the latest developments in Egypt and discussing ways of boosting bilateral relations in a manner that serves the interests of the two peoples.
The meeting was attended by Algerian Minister for Foreign Affairs Ramtane Lamamra and Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel, and Egypt's Ambassador in Algiers Omar Abu Eish.
