
Egypt is rich in investment opportunities that German companies can grab, particularly in the fields of agriculture, breeding, energy, infrastructure and transport, said Egyptian Ambassador here, Badr Abdel Aati.
Abdel Aati, at a meeting with Prime Minister of Lower Saxony Stephan Weil on Monday night, reviewed developments in Egypt over the past two years and pointed out to efforts to achieve political stability and security and fight terrorism, a statement by the Egyptian Embassy here said on Tuesday.
The meeting also took up Egypt's efforts to achieve social and economic development through implementing a number of mega projects, the statement added.
Weil stressed the importance of stability in Egypt as a key to stability in the Middle East. He urged his office to contact officials in Lower Saxony to communicate with specialized Egyptian companies to work together in the proposed fields.
