Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, met on Monday before noon at Baabda Presidential Palace with visiting President of the French far-right Front National (FN) party, Marine Le Pen.
"Discussions touched on the Syrian refugees' issue which forms a huge burden on Lebanon," Le Pen said following the meeting.
She stressed the need to cooperate between both countries in a bid to combat extremism.
