Arab League Secretary-General Meets Russian FM

Secretary-General of the Arab-League Ahmed Abo El Ghait met Wednesday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 71st United Nations General Assembly taking place in New York. They discussed the latest developments in the Arab world, particularly developments in Palestine and Syria.
They also discussed ways to advance Russian-Arab dialogue starting with the ministerial meeting of Russia and Arab countries. The meeting will take place in the UAE in the first quarter of 2017.
