Bahrain commander-in-chief receives US official

Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed al Khalifa received here Monday US state secretary assistant for arms control, verification and compliance Frank Rose and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the kingdom.
The commander-in-chief reviewed with the US official existing bilateral relations based on joint cooperation and coordination, lauding the steady growth of those ties in various fields, especially the military one, the Bahrain News Agency reported.
Issues of mutual concern were also discussed.
