
Bangladesh Prime Minister Hasina Wajed met here on Sunday with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir.
According to Saudi press agency, the meeting focused on bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
Following the meeting Al Jubeir and his Bangladeshi counterpart Abul Al-Hassan Mahmood Ali singed an agreement on consultation and coordination between the two countries. Bangladesh Prime Minister attended the signing ceremony.
Earlier in the day Al Jubeir held a meeting with his Bangladeshi counterpart Abul Al-Hassan Mahmood Ali.
In a press statement following the meeting, Al-Jubeir explained that the visit of Bangladeshi Prime Minister to Saudi Arabia comes within the framework of consultation and coordination between the two countries to promote relations in a number of areas, referring to the two countries' desire to deepen ties in the security, military, economic and political fields.
