Chairman of Omani State Council meets UN Commissioner for Human Rights

Chairman of the State Council of the Sultanate of Oman Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al-Manthri met here Sunday with United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad Al Hussein.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides.
The UN Commissioner praised Oman's pivotal role and its ability to find peaceful solutions to the crises in the region, including the Iranian nuclear issue and the war in Yemen.
