
Education Minister El Hilali el Sherbini met on Monday with British Ambassador to Egypt John Casson and Chief Education Advisor at Pearson Michael Barber to discuss means of reforming education in Egypt.
During the meeting, the minister said Egypt's government is looking forward to the successful modes in education field in order to benefit from them.
He pointed out that Egypt' political leadership gives great attention to the reforming process of education, adding that education is the only way to develop Egypt.
He added that Egypt and Britain will cooperate in training science and mathematics teachers in order to enhance their skills in teaching these subjects in English.
Meanwhile, British ambassador in Cairo said that Egypt is facing challenges including highly-populated classes and schools' administration, adding that education ministry is the future economic growth engine.
