
International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr had a meeting on Wednesday with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto on promoting economic, technical and scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Transport Minister Galal el Saaed and Hungarian Ambassador in Cairo Peter Kveck.
The two sides also stressed the importance of the convocation of the 3rd ordinary meeting of the Egyptian Hungarian Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Cairo in February 2017.
They also underlined the importance of signing a new cooperation agreement between the two countries to replace the one that was signed in 2007.
They also discussed a proposal by the Hungarian-Russian coalition to supply Egyptian National Railways with 700 train carriages.
