Egyptian-Chinese summit starts

The summit of Egyptian Abdel Fattah el Sisi and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping opened in Cairo on Thursday.
An official reception ceremony was held to welcome President Xi.
On Wednesday, President Sisi held a dinner banquet for the Chinese president and his accompanying delegation at Abdeen Palace where musical and artistic shows were present. Xi toured the palace to see the antiques of Mohamed Ali Family.
Xi arrived in Cairo late Wednesday on the first visit of a Chinese president to Egypt in 12 years. The Chinese president is on a Middle East tour which includes also Saudi Arabia and Iran.
