Egyptian Ambassador here Osama Shaltout met on Sunday with head of the African Union-United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) Martin Ihoeghian Uhomoibhi for talks on security situation in the western Sudanese region of Darfur.
Talks tackled the future of the UN mission and their tasks in providing humanitarian assistance to Darfurians and protecting refugees in UN camps in Darfur.
Uhomoibhi lauded the distinguished participation of Egyptian forces in Darfur peacekeeping mission.
