
Bahraini Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri met here on Wednesday with his Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed bin Mohammad al-Khalifa.
The meeting was attended by Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Soha el Far. The two ministers discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest.
Shoukri arrived here late Tuesday on a short visit to Bahrain to convey a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said Shoukri will meet during the visit with the Bahraini monarch, Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad al Khalifa, Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa as well as his Bahraini counterpart.
The visit aims at bolstering bilateral relations, following up current cooperation program, reviewing the latest developments on the regional and international levels as well as the threats facing Arab national security.
