
Egypt’s Ambassador to Vatican Hatem Saif el Nasr held a meeting on Thursday with Fr. Federico Lombardi, director of Holy See Press Office.
The meeting took up means to boost cooperation in the field of media, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Fr. Lombardi hailed efforts exerted by Egypt to curb the danger of extremism and terrorism, the statement added.
Also, he congratulated Cairo over completing a roadmap adopted after the June 30 revolution in 2013, the ministry said.
according to the statement, Saif el Nasr praised the Holy See Press for commitment to professional and neutral performance while covering developments in Egypt.
