
Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Japanese Ambassador Kiyoshi Asako, and praised the close and distinct ties between the two countries, especially in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors.
The minister also lauded the expertise of Japanese companies in the field. He listed the achievements since the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Japan in 2012 and the directives of His Majesty for increasing cooperation, as well as trade and economic integration between the two countries.
The ambassador thanked the minister for the welcome and the hospitality, and expressed Japan’s willingness to enhance the existing cooperation to serve the interests and aspirations of the two countries.
