
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a series of meetings on Wednesday with leaders of the Bundestag amid a noticeable interest from the German parliament in the minister's visit in the wake of the convening of the Egyptian House of Representatives.
According to MENA correspondent in Berlin, Shoukry resumed his meetings with the head of the foreign affairs committee and representatives of the four political blocs at the Bundestag, who attended an official dinner, held by the Egyptian ambassador in Berlin.
He concluded his meetings with the leaders of the Bundestag with a meeting with the deputy parliament speaker.
Ahead of his meetings with the lawmakers, Shoukry met with members of the Egyptian-German parliamentary friendship group.
