
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Monday with his Czech counterpart Lubomir Zaoralek for talks over boosting bilateral cooperation.
The meeting, held at Tahrir Palace downtown Cairo, tackled a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The two top officials will hold a press conference at the end of their talks.
Tahrir Palace, built by Italian architect Antonio Lasciac over four years starting from 1889 to 1903, has been serving as the headquarters of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry since 1930 till 2009.
Since then, the three-floor palace has been used by the Foreign Ministry as a venue for some important meetings.
