
Foreign Ministers of the GCC Member State will hold a meeting with the US Secretary of State John Kerry next Thursday in Bahrain to prepare for the GCC-US Summit to be held in Riyadh on 21 April wthin the framework of the strategic partnership between the two sides, Gulf cooperation Council (GCC) secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani said.
In remarks today, Al Zayani said that the meeting will discuss the reports of the working groups formed after the Camp David Summit 2015 to study promoting the GCC-US relations in the fields of policies, defence, security and economy.
The meeting will also discuss the developments in the region and the efforts for the settlement of conflicts in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Libya in addition to fighting terrorism and other regional and international issues of common concern.
